There is plenty to do and see in and around Sennen; hiking along the beach and cliffs, breathing in the invigorating sea air, surfing and much more. Then there’s the wonderful open air Minack Theatre carved into the rock above Porthcurno beach and the delightful fishing village at Mousehole which has great Christmas lights during December. Tropical gardens, tin mines and stone circles are all within easy reach.

The Isles of Scilly can be found just 28 miles southwest of Land’s End. Travel there by either plane or ferry boat from Penzance. The Isles consist of five inhabited islands with long stretches of stunning sandy beaches, nature trails, museums, and castles. This remote territory is well worth the effort but ensure you book accommodation in advance. If it's tranquility you're after... Scilly is for you!
