Given its legendary past it’s no surprise that the bustling city of Nottingham has a thriving culture. With several museums, a castle, an Anglo-Saxon caving network complete with paranormal performance tours as well as theatres and a booming nightlife, the city truly has something for everyone. The city’s Natural History Museum lies just outside the city centre in the beautiful Tudor mansion, Wollaton Hall. For foodies, the third Friday and Saturday of each month is a must as the Regional Fine Food Market offers an array of mouth-watering treats. From tender rare breed meats, fine cheeses, to scrumptious cakes and traditional pies.

For music fanatics, Nottingham has a thriving underground scene celebrating its unique ‘DIY’ mentality: an endless stream of DJs and bands host nights at numerous bars and clubs as well as more unsuspecting venues such as warehouses and galleries. With so much on offer, you can create the perfect trip in this vibrant city.
