London is a city that is brimming with things to do. For traditional sites, explore the Tower of London and Big Ben. Or experience more modern architecture and take a spin on the London Eye, which offers fantastic views of the River Thames. The museums are top notch; the National History Museum houses a life-size animated T-Rex and the British Museum is full of artefacts from around the world. Art lovers are also catered for. The Tate Modern houses art from 1900 onwards, while the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square is home to more historical works.

London is renowned as a shopper’s paradise. You could spend all day strolling along Oxford Street or browsing in the delightful boutiques in Covent Garden. Camden Market is open throughout the year and sells all manner of hand crafted goods and alternative clothing, while Portobello Market is famous for its curious antiques.

The capital breathes entertainment and world class theatre takes centre stage. The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre and the Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre are both stunning productions.
