Visitors Guide to bournemouth

Bournemouth not only boasts a bustling, vibrant, seaside town centre with a belting nightlife, but also a surrounding area of natural beauty which is guaranteed to astound. With seven miles of beautiful sandy beaches along Dorset’s Jurassic Coastline and 2,000 acres of stunning parks and gardens, it’s no wonder that Bournemouth is a popular tourist destination.

From Easter until October you can take to the sky in the Bournemouth tethered balloon to view Bournemouth’s breathtaking sights in an extraordinary way. The seafront has two piers, Bournemouth and Boscombe (a gentle 2km walk). Water sports enthusiasts may like to check out Boscombe Reef, Europe’s first artificial surf reef. If the British weather is proving to be more rain than shine then there is plenty to do inside as well. The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum and Bournemouth’s aquarium, Oceanarium, are popular attractions. So, whatever the weather, Bournemouth has plenty to keep any visitor more than happy!
